Rating/Response: 4 This is a fun and quick book to read for a read aloud.  It’s fun to see where the taxi will take Jim and Maxi next!

One question you would ask before a read aloud: Have you ever driven in a taxi before?  What was it like?

Reading Strategy: Free Choice (Picture)

Rationale for Strategy: This book would make a good free choice picture book because it is a fun and quick read, with a story that most children can relate to.
