Bibliographic Information: Parkhurst, Carolyn, and Dan Yaccarino. Cooking with Henry and Elliebelly. New York: Feiwel and Friends, 2010. Print.

Brief Annotation: This book is about two young siblings who are talking to the readers as if they were on a cooking show.

Genre: fiction

Grade Level: K-2

Readers who will like this: Children who likes to cook or be on television.

Rating/Response: 3 I thought this book was a great read. This book showed a relationship between two siblings and I think the students can relate to this story.

One question you would ask before a read aloud: What do you think Henry and Elliebelly will cook?

Reading Strategy: Free Choice

Rationale for Strategy: This book would be great as a free choice because I feel that students can relate to this book especially if they have a younger sibling who wants to do everything they do.
