Rating/ Response: 4 – This book is nice and short, easy to read, and even easier to comprehend.  It is great for early readers.

Rationale for Strategy: Students can infer about how fire fighters work toward a common goal.  They can question why they are needed, and can question whether or not they would want to be a fire fighter.
