Rating/Response: 4 – This is a fun and active book that makes children become more conscious of what they do with their trash.

One question you would ask before a read aloud: If you were to help save the earth and recycle, how would you?  (OR) Do you know what recycling is, and why we do it?

Rationale for Strategy: This is a great book to use along with teaching about recycling in the science standards.
